Impact ColorFax includes Black Ice Software, Inc.’s patented Drag and Drop technology. This option allows you to convert documents into faxable images by simply “dragging and dropping” the desired document onto Impact ColorFax’s floating window.
Supported File Types
Open Document to Fax works with the following file types:
*.DOC, *.RTF, *.TXT Word, Notepad etc.
*.PPS Power Point
*.HTML, *.HTM FrontPage, Internet Explorer, etc.
*.PDF Portable Document Format
This can be accomplished by doing the following:
1. Navigate to the file that you wish to fax.
2. “Drag and Drop” the desired file onto the Impact ColorFax Drag&Drop Window. PLEASE NOTE: If you can’t see the floating window then it has probably been hidden. You can unhide the floating window by selecting the ColorFax Drag&Drop Window option from under the View menu in the Impact ColorFax application window.
3. Impact ColorFax will then convert the selected document into a faxable image and will launch the Send Fax Document window (See screenshot below).
4. Either Select an individual from the Phone Book or manually enter a fax number. Press the Send button to send the document to the selected number.
