Impact ColorFax includes one of Black Ice Software, Inc. printer drivers. This printer driver allows you to convert documents into faxable images by simply printing to our printer driver just like you would print to a physical printer.
1. Open the file that you wish to send as a fax
2. Print using the Color Fax Printer Driver, as shown.
3. The document will be converted into a faxable image and will be opened in a new window within the Impact ColorFax application. The Send Fax Document window will also be launched. You can fax the document out by either selecting an entry from the phonebook list or by manually typing in the fax number that you wish to send to. For more information on sending faxes, please see the Sending Faxes section of the manual.
4. If you want to edit the fax before sending it, simply close the Send Fax Document window. Make any desired changes to the document and then reopen the Send Fax Document window by selecting the Send Image option from the Fax menu.
